Dr. Víctor Manuel Guerrero Guzmán

He is an Emeritus Professor at the Statistics Department, Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). He is a member of the National System of Researchers, Level III. He holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, USA. His research inter-ests focus on model-based statistical analysis, particularly of time series, and developing methods to generate and analyze official statistical data.

Dr. Alejandro Islas Camargo

He is a Professor and Researcher at the Statistics Department, Autono-mous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). He is a member of the National System of Researchers, Level II. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of New Mexico, USA. His academic work focuses on interdisciplinary research questions related to finance, labor market, environment and health economics.


Dr. Willy W. Cortez Yactayo
Dr. Willy W. Cortez Yactayo

He is a Professor and Researcher at the Department of Quantitative Methods, School of Economics and Administrative Sciences, University of Guadalajara. He is a member of the National System of Researchers, Level III. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, IN, USA. His main lines of research are economics of crime, labor markets and macroeconomic performance, income inequality and economic development.


Dr. José Eliud Silva Urrutia
Dr. José Eliud Silva Urrutia

He is a Professor at the Faculty of Actuarial Sciences, University Anahuac. He is a member of the National System of Researchers, level I. He holds a PhD in Mathematics Engineering from University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain. His lines of research focus on topics where statistics and demography are linked. In particular, he is interested in making inferences through statistical models applied to social phenomena in Mexico.

Es Licenciada en Actuaría por el Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), Maestra en Análisis Económico y Doctora en Métodos Cuantitativos por la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Es profesora e investigadora en la Facultad de Economía y Negocios de la Universidad Anáhuac México. Imparte clases de Econometría y Finanzas. Sus principales intereses de investigación son: Econometría Financiera, Gestión de Riesgos, Econometría Computacional, Machine Learning, Forecasting y Econometría Aplicada a las Ciencias Sociales. Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores Nivel I en México. Editora Asociada de la Revista Journal of Applied Research and Technology. Sus publicaciones recientes son: Effects of Income on Family Care Organization in Mexico: An Analysis Based on Data from the Encuesta Nacional de Ingreso y Gasto de los Hogares (ENIGH) from 2010 to 2020 (2024), and Direct versus Iterated Multi-period Value-at-Risk Forecasts (2022)
